Quite Frankly, there isn&#8217;t just one number, and for most people it&#8217;s very hard to determine what they consider cheap.</p>
<p>Advertising budgets come in all sizes.  What might work for one company and one campaign might not be anywhere near enough for another. Typically the best advice one can receive when it comes to this question, is to pick a budget that you can maintain for several weeks. Long enough that you can get you ad out there so that people see it and you begin receiving some response. Typically is takes  a person seeing or hearing you ad several times before they call or visit the website.   You have to look at it as if you are building a relationship with them based on the consistency of your ad.  Once you begin receiving response you are then able to evaluate the results and tweak your campaign.</p>
<p>Different types of advertising cost different amounts, and none of these are one size fits all either. if you know what type of budget you are working with that&#8217;s typically the best way to figure out what medium is right for you. <p>the best way to figure out who your core niche market is, is to evaluate your core group of existing customers. But figuring out who is already shopping with you , you are at a big advantage of figuring out who else would be interested. If you don&#8217;t have a core group of existing customers, the best way is to start researching and figure out who is going to specifically need your product or service.One way you can do this is to work backward. look at the benefits                  benefits you offer. List them out if necessary.  Then  you will want to list some of the                 characteristics of the people whom you would expect to need this product or service, in other words,  whose current situation can be                 dramatically improved by those benefits?</p>
<p>No product or service will appeal to everyone. Many business owners,  including corporate executives, try to come up with ways to reach every  market. Usually this does not work . AMny times this can be a bad move for a small business who cannot afford to spread themselves too thin. Therefore,  find your market and be everything you can be to that audience.</p>
<p>Now you are off to a good start to finding your Niche !</p>

It is very common that people are just unsure of where to start and the first basic steps on how to begin advertising. The first blog in this series keyed in on a couple of points on how to establish a budget that you are comfortable with maintaining for several weeks in order to get your advertising venture off the ground enough to begin seeing some success with it.</p>
<p>While the last Blog assumed that you did already have a website in place or you were working on one this article is going to explore some steps you can take to give your business a online presence before you have a actual website in place for your &#8221; Brick and Mortar&#8221; store. While Having a website is HUGE its not the only way you can start a  presence for yourself and it is always key to remember that people  expect you to be online and even more importantly they give some sort of  &#8220;credibility&#8221; or lack their of for businesses that do or don&#8217;t have a   website.</p>
<p>There are actually several different social networking site that give you the opportunity to establish at least an online presence without any expense of setting up a actual website. For instance you can set up a Facebook Account, Start a LinkedIn Profile for yourself, or create a listing on sites like Merchant circle where you can receive reviews and even post coupons for patrons to use.</p>

<p>Even a big name like Nike can make a mistake, and they did when they were going to Launch a shoe with a name that had some negative history.</p>
<p>Check out this article that gives a little bit more detail about why the name of a shoe ( really? ) was meet with such negativity.  Which brings me to the advertising tip that a little research can go a long way when making decisions about slogans or names that go into a advertising campaign.</p>
<p>Imaging or a name while it make not seem like a big deal can go a long way in helping or Hindering a product or service from doing well. Ironically enough Nike hasn&#8217;t been the only big name company to make such a  silly mistake using coincidentally the same name. In 2006,  Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s ice cream  released a flavor names   &#8220;Black and Tan&#8221; and had to apologize for that as well.</p>

It&#8217;s very hard to know where is the best  place to start and how to  best spend your money.  For this blog we are  going to assume that your store front has or is in the process of  building a website and is interested in establishing a budget for  consistent advertising.</p>
<p>One of the most common questions I am asked is &#8220;How much does Advertising Cost?&#8221;  Typically it seems like people expect to have an exact number immediately given back to them.  That&#8217;s just not the case.  Your advertising budget depends largely on the next several factors.</p>
<p>Once your business website is up and running we recommend that you to plan to advertise consistently for the first several weeks.  Your test budget should be based on several different factors.</p>
<ul>
<li>Establish a test budget that you can maintain consistently for several weeks as it can take someone hearing or seeing your ad several times before they call or visit your site.</li>
<li>You will want to be able to give us some basic information about your business goals, such as the type of person you are trying to reach. If your business is already been established this is  a great time to review the type of people who frequent your products or services. This is a good way to start pinpointing your core demographic.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Establish a timeline of when your campaign needs to start. You will want to get in contact with us a few weeks in advance so that we can get everything ready for your campaign. If you are having a grand opening it is best to plan at least a month in advance. If you don’t have a definite start date, expect your campaign to be up and running in a matter of weeks</li>
